Find Insurance NI – has pledged to raise vital funds for Foyle Search & Rescue, the North-West based charity now in its 25th year. Foyle Search & Rescue have saved over 2500 people in distress since it began its volunteer work and are delighted with Find Insurance NI’s support.
Find Insurance NI – has pledged to raise vital funds for Foyle Search & Rescue, the North-West based charity now in its 25th year. Foyle Search & Rescue have saved over 2500 people in distress since it began its volunteer work and are delighted with Find Insurance NI’s support.
Through the donation campaign by Find Insurance NI, Foyle search and Rescue will receive £1 for every insurance renewal & new business policy, from car insurance to business insurance and anything else in between, from September 1 – December 31 2018.
The campaign will raise funds to support Foyle Search & Rescue as we head into the winter months and the number of incidents unfortunately increase.

“It’s known as the fourth emergency service, but they are often the first responders when an incident occurs. When we are tucked up in bed, these folk are out Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 9pm until 3am, with an on-call Emergency Response Team operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!”
Foyle Search & Rescue’s mission is to save lives and support people affected by suicide and depression. The charity was set up by the local community in 1993 and to date have stopped 3818 potential suicides, rescued over 340 people directly from the water and sadly, recovered 141 bodies, the support from Find Insurance NI will go a long way to keeping our 70 volunteers fully trained and equipped for their much-needed time.
